When talent meets opportunity: the story of Nunzio

Nunzio Quaranta started his journey at Bocconi in 2015 and, during his academic experience, also thanks to the support of a scholarship, he had the opportunity to enhance his language skills in London and Paris, study for a semester in the United States at the University of Washington in Seattle, and begin his career through internship experiences in Milan, Paris, and London.

Today, Nunzio lives and works in London where he supports the growth of companies and entrepreneurs in the market for renewable energy and energy transition.

Seneca argued that there is a moment when talent meets opportunity. Through their generosity, Bocconi Donors have been instrumental in giving Nunzio, and many other talents like him, a chance to embark on a path of professional and personal growth.

A journey that begins as a student and is constantly renewed through the network and initiatives of the Bocconi Alumni Community, which includes Nunzio as a member of the Board. As part of his role, he is making concrete efforts to promote new mentoring and social mobility initiatives aimed at future generations of Bocconians around the world.

Furthermore, in light of his experience as a beneficiary and in keeping with the social and progressive values that have always guided Bocconi, Nunzio has chosen to contribute to the support of less fortunate students through the University's system of waivers and scholarships, so that everyone may become an Alumnus in the future.
