Named Scholarship Funds
In an era characterized by challenges and complexity, universities play a key role in promoting inclusion, diversity and gender equality. Starting from their ability to welcome, integrate and accompany talented young people in their studies, regardless of socio-economic status or geographical origin. Many Bocconi Donors and Partners, aware of the concrete impact of this gesture, have chosen to invest in the education of new generations, with particular attention to the theme of inclusion and gender equality. Thanks to the support of Donors, 154 students began their adventure at Bocconi in the 2021-2022 academic year, among them 45 women students. For the academic years to come, funds have already been raised for scholarships for more than 80 women. That number is destined to increase, also thanks to the establishment of Named Scholarships by companies, foundations and institutions to support students, which make it possible to support a large number of students over a two-year period. To date, there are 14 active Named Scholarship Funds and over 120 students who, thanks to this support, have been able to and will be able to complete their studies in the coming years. Donors who have chosen this method of support include: Ceresio Investors - Famiglia Foglia, eBay, Fondazione Dompè, Fondazione Romeo ed Enrica Invernizzi, Generali, ION Foundation, Istituto Javotte Bocconi, Kaleyra, Mastercard, Only the Brave Foundation, Pirelli, Pirola Pennuto Zei & Associati and Tod's.
