Filling a gap by filling it with the future
The passing of a loved one, a partner or a friend and colleague deeply affects those closest to them and the community where they lived and grew up. These are losses that create a void - a void that can in part be filled through a gesture of altruism and solidarity toward the future.
It is with this spirit that the fundraising campaigns ad memoriam were designed, aimed at creating tuition waivers and scholarships capable of remembering and transmitting to the new generations the values of those who are no longer with us, while offering an opportunity for fulfilment and growth to young people who have merit and talent, but sometimes lack means.
Between 2021 and 2022, Università Bocconi has promoted in particular four campaigns aimed at supporting new generations in memory of Alumni and friends close to the University:

— The fundraising campaign in memory of Luca Felli (Economics, 1991).
— The fundraising campaign in memory of Maya Yazbeck.
— The fundraising campaign in memory of Mario Buffo (MBA 35).
— The fundraising campaign in memory of Alberto Alesina (Economic and Social Sciences, 1981).
