Joint Purpose
The mission of the SUR Lab - powered by Hines, Intesa Sanpaolo, MilanoSesto spa and Prelios - is to develop and spread knowledge on sustainable urban regeneration processes and how they generate value for the private sector and society.
Bocconi University represents the ideal context to host the SUR-Lab, given its competences and international standing. At the same time, the SUR Lab is an opportunity for Bocconi to develop the topic of sustainable urban regeneration within its research and educational activities, activating international links and synergies.
Bocconi University is located in Milan, a city where massive transformations of urban spaces and international investments have taken place in the last decade and several developers and designers are currently active. Milan is a living lab on sustainable urban regeneration, in connection with other global cities.
