Joint purpose

e Lab will focus primarily on the impact of fintech technologies on central banking and regulation, digital currencies, financial markets, and the banking system. The idea behind this project is to create a center of expertise that fosters cooperation among research leaders whose interests range from macroeconomics to finance, via law, history, and quantitative methods to social sciences and computer science. The enormous range of expertise available is the distinctive nature of the new Lab, as a holistic approach is needed to master fintech as a whole.
